What's the difference between an assessment and a consultation?
When you call, email, or submit a request, a board-certified arborist from our team will be in touch to assess the work to be done on your property. This assessment is free of charge and usually precedes a visit from our crew for pruning, planting, fertilization, or any combination of our tree care services.
A consultation may or may not lead to a visit from the Heritage Tree Care crew. An assessment will help you know if your trees and green spaces need maintenance or cleaning work.
A consultation is often done ahead of property planning or to follow local bylaws. You might need a consultation if you:
Are told by the city that a tree needs to be removed
Need advice on what trees will thrive on your property
Need a report to satisfy municipal bylaws ahead of construction
Want a plan on what to do to treat sick or injured trees
Noticed a bug or infestation and want to know how to treat it
