The by-law provides clear guidelines on the circumstances under which trees on private property may or may not be removed, and when permits are required. Permit required to Injure or Remove.
30cm diameter or more measured at 1.4m above the ground.
Permit required to Injure or Remove.
3 or more trees over 15cm in diameter measured at 1.4m from ground.
3 or more dead, dying or hazardous trees over 15cm measured at 1.4m from ground. (Including ash trees infested with EAB)
Permit required to Injure or Remove.
30cm diameter or more measured at 1.4m above the ground.
